Hoppers have taken a back seat to mayflies on the Yellowstone around Columbus. Good hatches of baetis and golden drakes are a daily event, even in the bright sun. Of course, it's better if the weather is crappy, but we'll take all the 80 degree days we can get this time of year! Looks like this coming week will bring some clouds and another round of rainy weather, so look for the hatches to just get stronger! An olive or yellow parachute or comparadun in size 14 will get the job done.
