All area streams and rivers are blown out due to snow melt. Don't anticipate fishing moving water until late June. Fortunately, there are alternatives. Here are a couple of nice lake fish taken yesterday at an undisclosed location near Clark, WY. Note the size of the pure strain cutthroat! Good job, Clancey and Dave from New Orleans!

The Yellowstone is still clear and fishing great. Good "March Brown" hatch. Stilly is chocolate this afternoon.

Went swimming in the Stilly yesterday. A huge gust of wind took the boat off the bank. I was one step too far away. Almost over my waders when I grbbed the aft, then another big gust pulled me all the way in. Neither of the clients even saw me climb out, TIE OFF THE BOAT (how many years have I been doing this?) and strip down to my tightie whities. The fishing was excellent. Good caddis hatch around 3pm
