Hope you are all getting out and enjoying this great fall weather! It's been spectacular here in Red Lodge. I've been fishing the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone lately. Excellent dry fly fishing! There's a nice baetis hatch around noon and fish are up eating 'em. Also, huge clouds of Tricos everywhere! Usually don't expect them this late in the season. Haven't seen any sign of the brown trout spawn yet. Been throwing streamers in the evening after the hatch, but no luck. Not even a tug. Maybe when the weather gets colder we'll start getting into the big browns.
